Soon after governor signs gun bill, NRA sues to block it


TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Weeks after their kids were gunned down within the worst school shooting since Columbine, parents in the victims stood in the Florida Capitol and watched Gov. Rick Scott sign a far-reaching bill that places new restrictions on guns.

Hours later, the nation’s Rifle Association filed a federal lawsuit to block it.
