Hull’s William Jackson Food Group is supporting website of bakery brand Jacksons by investing 40 million inside of a second bakery.
Based in Corby, the modern bakery may be approved by Corby Borough Council. It should provide ancillary support into the Jackson’s primary Hull-based bakery where it’s been based for more than a century and makes bread for sandwich manufacturing and food service customers.
The new state-of-the-art bakery is designed specifically to generate sandwich bread for sandwich manufacturers.
It will probably be built using a 10-acre site in Genner Road to the Willowbrook East Industrial Estate in Corby which we purchased in February at the moment.
“The Group and its particular family shareholders have invested significantly during the Hull bakery over recent times, and also keep buy the Hull site,” said CEO Norman Soutar.
